WebServe Canada becomes CIRA's newest certified registrar.

Now, you can register your .ca domains directly with WebServe. Where most web hosting companies aren't certified registrars and use a reseller, WebServe cuts out the middleman. This means:

Originally, all .ca registrations were handled by the University of British Columbia. This was a slow and complicated process, and was eventually handed over to CIRA (The Canadian Internet Registration Authority) in December of 2000. CIRA doesn't handle registrations directly, but instead has certified registrars like WebServe Canada, who work with CIRA to provide the best and fastest service possible.
